Daily Audit is built and run by Akshay Johny, in Kerala, India. “We” and “us” below mean him. “You” means whoever is using the service — and where you are using it for a business, it means that business too.
A daily audit and compliance system for outlet businesses. There are two ways to use it, and they work differently in ways that matter:
The software, its design, its wording, its structure and everything else about how it works is our copyright. Using the service — including downloading the free edition — does not transfer any of that to you. You get to use it, for as long as these terms are kept.
So, specifically: do not copy the software to resell or rent it, do not pass it off as your own or as somebody else’s, do not decompile or reverse-engineer it in order to build a competing product, and do not remove the copyright notices. Reading the source of a file we handed you, so you can satisfy yourself about what it does with your data, is not any of those things and is fine.
Everything you enter belongs to you. We claim no ownership of it and we do not sell it, publish it, or use it to train anything. Export it whenever you like — the export button is in the product and it produces a file you can read without us.
Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think somebody else has it. You are responsible for what is done through your accounts. We can suspend an account that is being used to break the law, to attack the service, or to resell it — and if we do, you may take your data with you.
Trials are free and end on their own; nothing is charged unless you choose to continue. Paid plans are billed in advance for the period you pick. If a price changes, it changes for a period you have not yet paid for, and you will be told before it does.
The service is provided as it is. We work hard on it and test it heavily, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of faults, and we do not promise it will catch every problem in your business — it is a tool that helps a person do an audit, not a substitute for the person. It is not accounting, tax or legal advice. Decisions you take on what it shows you are yours.
To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything arising out of the service is limited to what you have paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim — and for the free edition, which you pay nothing for and which never sends us anything, that figure is nil.
You can stop using the service at any time, and ask us to delete your account. We may end these terms if they are broken. Take an export first, either way.
These terms are governed by the law of India, and the courts of Kerala have jurisdiction.
If these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and account holders are told by email. Carrying on using the service after that means the new terms apply.
